Mike Defee is a Back Judge in the Big XII Conference.  Mike served as President of the Southeast Texas Chapter for 2008 - 2009.   Mike has been officiating football games since 1996.   Mike is a construction manager with Newtron Electric.  Mike worked the Big XII Championship games in 2007 and 2009 and the Sugar Bowl in 2008.  Mike also is an official in the Arena Football League.  Mike is married with grown children and lives in the Groves.
 

Beau Hicks has been a member of the Southeast Texas Chapter since 1957, serving for many years as the chapter secretary and as a back judge in the Southwest Conference.   Beau is presently an Advisor to the Supervisor of Officials for the SWAC, a scout for officials for the Big 12 Conference and also a scout for the NFL.   Beau is married to TASO Honorary Lifetime Member Nelda Hicks and they reside in Beaumont.
    

Robert J. Wortham has been a member of the chapter board of directors or otherwise served the chapter for a number of years.  Bob has been officiating since 1976 and is a previous member of Conference USA.  Bob is the presiding judge of the 58th District Court of the State of Texas.  He is married to Karen Wortham and has grown children.  The Wortham's reside in Beaumont and have sponsored a chapter scholarship recipient through the Bob and Karen Wortham Foundation many times.
